You know when I think of the trials, and tribulation life has to offer I have to realize we aren’t alone. I know that is hard to say and even to believe at times. For me when I am traveling alone, or studying alone it’s hard to sometimes know that God the ever loving, ever present God is with us. ALWAYS. Not sometimes but always with us. Sometimes I think that’s creepy…. you mean God sees me when I am showering, going to the bathroom, jamming out to whatever your listening to in your car, and perhaps doing something I shouldn’t be doing…… Yep. So if we know God is watching and is with us (if you’re a believer in Jesus Christ) then why don’t we expect he won’t help from God or know he’s watching when we have other issues arise (family related, financial, emotional, etc)?
“And this is the message I proclaim–that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.” Romans 2:16
Traveling in many states and throughout the US and going to different churches I realize that God is always there and he shows himself in different ways, but he is the same God no matter where you live or where your upbringing is. God is with you when you have that bill you can’t seem to pay. God is with you when you have that family member who is hurting, blaming and turning a deaf ear to you. God is with you when you an accident that seemingly seems immeasurable to solve and resolve. When you are a believer with Jesus Christ, you are indwelled with the Holy Spirit and below I am going to give you some scriptures showing how we are never truly alone.
Sometimes we think we sin too much or we are undeserving of God’s grace, forgiveness, and that he does not want fellowship with us. Don’t get me wrong sinning will hinder that- but God never gives up on us and that he didn’t create us to be living a life in condemnation. Isaiah talks about the judgment of God on the sinful people of Israel through their exile but also speaks that God returns to them and will not banish them altogether. He talks about their need to rely on him and solely on him for their provision and protection. Wherever you are today know that God is near to you no matter what you’re doing and we don’t worship a distant, far away God but one who is a live, actively working in our lives today. Whether you are at work, at home, or whatever situation or problem you’re facing and going through know that you are not alone.
23 He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.24 The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel. 25 In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill. 26 The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted. Isaiah 30:23-26
“Be Strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
“…….Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.” Revelation 2:23
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:18
